About Kim

Kim Richardson was admitted to the bar in 1982 and has since concluded thousands of cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, disability insurance claims, criminal defence and other litigation, with experience at all levels of the Nova Scotia courts. He is a founding member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association and a longstanding member of the Nova Scotia Criminal Lawyers Association, the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia, and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. Alongside more than 40 years in litigation practice, he has also been an active real estate practitioner, closing thousands of sales, purchases and financings. Now semi-retired, he refers some matters to colleagues but remains hands-on with the cases he chooses to pursue, still putting in 30 or more hours a week at the office.
