About Kim

Kim Arial practises criminal defence in Calgary, handling matters from domestic assault allegations to drug and firearm offences to serious violent crimes including murder. She also works in constitutional law, focusing on Charter rights and remedies for alleged breaches, and advocates for minority language rights. She has appeared at every level of court in Alberta, as well as in the Provincial Court of Ontario and the Territorial and Supreme Courts of the Northwest Territories. Raised bilingual by an anglophone mother and a francophone father, she practises in both English and French and has about ten years of experience in criminal defence.
