About Khatera

Khatera Haidery is a partner at DBB Law practicing family law and alternative dispute resolution. She began her legal career with the firm in 2009 as an articling student and has litigation experience at all three levels of the Alberta courts, including serving as counsel in the Court of Appeal on a leading Alberta case involving foreign marriage and polygamy. Khatera volunteers with Pro Bono Law Alberta and is a former board member of the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association and the Centre for Newcomers. She mentors through the Law Society of Alberta's Mentor Express program and co-teaches Family Law at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law.
