About Kevin
Kevin Siu is a co-founder and partner at Anand & Siu LLP, practicing intellectual property litigation with more than a decade of experience across pharmaceuticals, biologics, oil and gas, telecommunications, software, video games, and consumer goods. He has appeared before the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court, the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, and the Patent Appeal Board. In the life sciences sector he acts under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations for both brand and generic pharmaceutical companies, and he has handled damages claims under section 8 of those regulations. He also has a copyright practice covering software piracy, technological protection measures, and video game and media asset protection, and he is a registered trademark agent who prosecutes trademarks and negotiates IP agreements. Kevin earned his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2014 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto in 2011, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2015.
