His practice focuses on management-side labour, employment and human rights matters, along with workplace investigations and mediation, serving employers across crown corporations, academic institutions, municipalities and private industry. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on standard-of-review and constructive dismissal cases, represented the New Brunswick Provincial Court Judges Association on judicial compensation, and defended employers in wrongful dismissal and human rights proceedings. Bennett was appointed King's Counsel in 2022 and has served as managing partner of both the firm's Fredericton and Saint John offices. He holds an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School, an LLB from the University of New Brunswick, and a BA (honours) from St. Thomas University.
