About Kayla
Kayla Tink is a Senior Associate with experience on both the defence and prosecution sides of the criminal bar, giving her added insight into defending people facing criminal charges. She focuses on Charter Rights arguments in appellate courts and has volunteered with Innocence McGill, a clinic that investigates wrongful convictions. She has also published an academic article examining the legal immunity of parliamentary privilege through case studies of alleged criminal conduct. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in political science, with a concentration in public affairs and policy analysis and a minor in French, from Carleton University, where she received a Senate Medal for academic achievement. She went on to earn both an LL.B. and a B.C.L. through McGill University's dual-degree law program.
