About Katya

Katya Stella Assoe earned her law degree from the Université de Montréal in 2021 and was sworn in to the Barreau du Québec in 2023. She joined Lewis et Associés in 2024 and practises immigration and refugee law, representing clients in asylum claims, humanitarian and compassionate permanent-residence applications, and other immigration matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. She focuses on supporting vulnerable populations through the Canadian immigration system.
