About Kathleen

Kathleen Coutts is a partner at Tapper Cuddy LLP, having joined as an associate on her call to the Manitoba bar in 2013 and made partner in 2022. She litigates employment disputes, estate matters, insurance claims, and commercial conflicts before all levels of Manitoba court and the Federal Court, and has sought leave to the Supreme Court of Canada. As a certified workplace investigator, she conducts inquiries into harassment and misconduct allegations for employers across private and Indigenous institutions. The 2026 Best Lawyers Canada guide recognized her for corporate and commercial litigation and trusts and estates work, and she has been appointed the City of Winnipeg's Interim Integrity Commissioner.
