About Katherine

Katherine Veintimilla was born and raised in Ecuador and brings an international legal background to her practice. She earned her law degree from the Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil in 2015 and an LL.M. in international business law from the Université Catholique de Lyon in France, and practised law in Ecuador for over four years, including as in-house counsel for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. After moving to Canada, she completed the Canadian law courses at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law, earning a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She joined Morelli Chertkow LLP in 2022 as a litigation legal assistant, completed her articles, and was called to the bar in December 2025. Katherine is an executive member of the Kamloops Women Lawyers Forum.
