Ben van der Gracht is from British Columbia and attended law school at UBC in Vancouver, and was called to the bar in 2010 after earning his law degree in 2009. He moved to Kamloops in 2009 to article at Morelli Chertkow, stayed on as an associate, and became a partner in 2016. His general solicitor's practice is divided between commercial law (incorporations, business sales, leases, secured lending), real estate (conveyancing, land-use agreements, strata), and estate planning and administration (wills, powers of attorney, trusts, probate). He serves as a director of People in Motion, Day One Society, the Merritt Business and Economic Development Society, and the Community Futures Development Corporation of the Nicola Valley.
