About Katherine
Katherine Tinmouth was called to the bar in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2008. She volunteered at the Dalhousie legal aid clinic in 2007 before working in the insurance litigation and corporate-commercial disputes departments of a large regional firm. In 2010 she returned to BC and joined the family law department of a Vancouver litigation firm, working primarily on high-value, high-conflict files. She moved to the Comox Valley with family in 2013 and now focuses on family law, preferring negotiation and mediation over litigation where possible, and has trained as a Collaborative Family Lawyer and Mediator.
