About Kate

Kate McNeece serves as counsel in the Competition and Foreign Investment Group at Goodmans. Her work spans a broad range of competition law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, marketing and distribution practices, abuse of dominance, and investigations, and she advises companies on compliance issues such as commercial agreements, greenwashing, and drip pricing. Kate also advises on foreign investment review under the Investment Canada Act, covering both net benefit reviews and national security reviews, including matters involving state owned enterprises. Before joining Goodmans, she worked in the competition law group of another large Bay Street firm, having trained in the United States and begun her career in Washington, DC. Kate has worked with clients across industries including natural resources, energy, entertainment, telecommunications, financial services, and retail.
