About Karmel

Karmel Sakran is Managing Partner of GGS Law and a lifelong resident of Burlington. Karmel began a career at a Bay Street firm handling matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada before returning to the home community to join what was then Green Germann LLP. The practice covers corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, criminal law, and real estate. Karmel is active in the Burlington community, having chaired the Hamilton Burlington Brantford YMCA and served on the boards of the Halton Learning Foundation, Joseph Brant Hospital, and the United Way, among other organizations. Karmel was called to the Bar in 1995 after studying at the University of Windsor Law School.
