About Joel

Joel Kissack founded the firm in 2009, drawing on sixteen years he spent as a senior partner at the firm now known as Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg (formerly Davies, Ward & Beck), one of Canada's major corporate firms. His practice touched corporate, securities, competition, and information technology law. He then spent close to a decade in business leadership roles, handling operations and business development for three startup technology companies serving domestic and international markets. Joel is a graduate of the University of Toronto and now combines his legal background with hands-on business experience to advise clients facing complex challenges.
