About Earl

Earl Taylor is a litigation lawyer whose practice covers family law, personal injury, employment law and estate litigation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor in 1968 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1975, and was called to the bar in 1977. He began as an associate at a Windsor firm before becoming a partner at Pape, Hopkins and Taylor in 1979, narrowing his focus to civil litigation. In 1981 he joined the firm now known as Miller Canfield, making partner in 1984 and remaining as a trial lawyer there until early 2011, appearing in courts at all levels across Ontario including the Court of Appeal. While practising in Windsor, he also wrote a recurring legal column for BizX magazine.
