About Karine

Karine Thériault was called to the Quebec Bar in 2018 and practises health law, civil and professional liability, insurance law, construction law and legal psychiatry. Before joining Bélanger Longtin in 2024, she practised at a national firm representing healthcare facilities and other health-sector stakeholders. Thériault holds a B.Sc. in pharmacology from the Université de Sherbrooke (2012), a specialized graduate diploma in health law and policy from the same institution (2014), a master's degree in health management from the Université de Montpellier I (2014), and an LL.B. from the Université Laval (2016). She serves as vice-president of the Health Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and was recognized as a 'One to Watch' in health law in the Best Lawyers 2026 edition.
