About Karen
Karen M. Robertson is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Western Ontario. She practises exclusively in family law, including child welfare litigation on behalf of the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society since September 1991, as well as representing private clients in divorce, custody, access, support, and family property matters. She has conducted numerous trials in the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice and has appeared in appellate courts. She regularly lectures on child welfare and family law, including a four-day program at the University of Windsor sponsored by its law school, and has assisted with moot court competitions and the creation of the Ontario Court of Justice bench/bar committee. She attends the biannual National Family Law Program for ongoing education in developing areas of family law.
