About Karen
Karen Koshman lives in Calgary and attended law school in Edmonton, earning her J.D. from the University of Alberta in 1990. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1991 and later the Saskatchewan Bar in 2022. She began her career in insurance defence at a large private firm before moving to Alberta Justice, where she served as general litigation counsel defending claims against the Province. With deep Western Canadian roots, she now handles questioning and discoveries, settlement negotiations, and mediations for clients in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Alberta.
