Kali Matsumoto joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2025 while studying toward her J.D. at Dalhousie University, where she expects to graduate in 2026. At Dalhousie she is a member of Pro Bono Dalhousie and the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service, and she received the NOVA Injury Tort Law award in 2024. After her first year of law school she worked as a summer student at an Indigenous-owned insurance company. She holds a B.A. in economics with a minor in philosophy from Simon Fraser University, where she took part in the entrepreneurial club Enactus, and she previously volunteered with the Alzheimer's Society of BC as a social media manager and planning committee coordinator for its Delta branch.
