About Kito

Kito is an associate at Shikhman Barristers and a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where he will be called to the bar in 2026. During his studies he worked at the United Nations supporting high-level international negotiations and served as a research assistant, authoring a report on Indigenous criminal justice initiatives across the country. In his final two years at Osgoode he co-led the school's chapter of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association. Before law school, Kito earned an Honours BA in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and he has additional experience in federal and provincial politics and the non-profit sector, working on policy issues including criminal justice reform.
