About Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn Margison practices intellectual property litigation at Osler, with a focus on patent disputes. During law school, she competed on the mooting circuit, reaching the quarter-finals of the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot and the semi-finals of the Canadian Harold G. Fox Moot, where she won the award for Best Appellant Factum. She also worked in a public-interest clinic, assisting with copyright matters before the Federal Court of Appeal. Margison holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science, in addition to her law degree, all earned at the University of Ottawa. She first worked at Osler as a 2021 summer student, returned to article with the firm in 2023 and 2024, then clerked at the Federal Court for Justice Michael D. Manson before rejoining as an associate.
