About Kai

Kai Tanveer is an associate at McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP who summered and articled with the firm before her call to the bar in 2024. She holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A./LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law University in Delhi, India. Before attending Osgoode, Kai worked in the capital markets group of a major Indian law firm and later served as a senior researcher for Death Penalty India, studying the demographics of death row prisoners. During law school she volunteered with the Innocence Project and worked as a research assistant on a project examining sentencing factors for young adults. Her varied background lets her bring fresh perspective to the advice she gives clients.
