About Julie
Julie Toews was born and raised in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2012 and a law degree in 2017. She relocated to Manitoba after graduation and articled with Legal Aid before being called to the Manitoba bar. Toews then completed a legal internship with UNICEF in Vietnam through the Canadian Bar Association's Young Lawyers International Program, and afterward worked in private practice with a mid-sized Winnipeg firm. She now lives in Morden with her husband.
