About Harley

Harley Shepherd earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Manitoba in 2008 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2011, and was called to the Manitoba Bar on June 21, 2012. He began a permanent position as an associate lawyer with MMJS on January 1, 2022, when Franz Hoeppner Wiens sold its Deloraine office to the firm. In April 2022, MMJS purchased the law practice of Michael Waldron in Boissevain, and Shepherd has attended that office since. He practices primarily out of the Carman office, working from Deloraine and Boissevain on Wednesdays, and enjoys serving rural communities across southern Manitoba. Outside the office, he is the Sergeant-at-Arms for Carman Branch 18 of the Royal Canadian Legion.
