About Kelly
Kelly Kennedy grew up in Winnipeg and worked for eight years in Fort Frances, Ontario, as a case manager in employment and training before returning to Manitoba to pursue law in 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Manitoba and a Juris Doctor from the same school, completing her articles in 2019/20 with Gindin Wolson Simmonds Roitenberg in criminal defence. Kennedy has held a range of volunteer roles over the past decade, including as a Restorative Youth Justice Facilitator in Ontario, Chair of the Citizen Advisory Committee for Winnipeg Urban Parole, and Co-chair of the Women's Network Project, which supports women reintegrating into the community.
