About Julie

Julie Gagnon, KC, is the Managing Partner of Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP, with a practice focused on professional regulatory law, administrative law, and wills, estates and trusts. She advises regulatory bodies on regulatory issues, legislation, board policy and governance, has appeared before various tribunals and the Court of King's Bench and Court of Appeal, and has prosecuted and defended professionals in disciplinary hearings. In her estates practice, Julie helps clients with comprehensive estate plans, including wills, powers of attorney, personal directives and family trusts, and assists with estate administration and probate. She is bilingual in English and French and is active with the Francophone community in Edmonton. Julie earned her BComm and LLB from the University of Alberta, was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1999, and was appointed King's Counsel in 2026.
