About Julia
Julia joined Neuman Thompson as an associate lawyer in 2024 after working at a full-service Edmonton law firm. While studying in the University of Alberta's J.D. program, she competed in the Davies corporate/commercial moot in Toronto and served as a writing fellow for the legal research and writing class. Julia earned a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2020 and a degree in Business Economics and Law with Distinction, also from the University of Alberta, in 2017, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2021. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, and previously served on a Women's Law Forum committee that fundraised for Kindred House and interned on the board of directors for the Citadel Theatre.
