About Judith

Judith Hong Wilkin is the founder and principal lawyer of JHW Business Law, bringing 22 years of experience, 20 of them on Bay Street. Before starting the firm in 2019, Judith was a partner at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP, focusing on corporate and securities law. Transactional work includes representing investors acquiring or investing in Canadian companies, handling due diligence, drafting documents, and closing deals, along with securities and capital markets work for issuers, investors, and dealer-brokers in private placements, going-public transactions, and prospectus offerings. Judith also helps clients set up real estate and venture capital funds, and the practice covers residential and commercial real estate transactions for buyers, sellers, lenders, and borrowers. Judith holds an LLM from York University and an LLB from the University of Ottawa, and began a legal career at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP.
