About Greg
Greg Rodin, K.C. founded Rodin Law Firm in December 1997 and has practiced almost exclusively in personal injury litigation since 1984, following an earlier career in criminal law with the Winnipeg firm of Wolch Pinx Tapper Scurfield. He has extensive trial and appellate experience, including serving as lead counsel for David Milgaard in his precedent-setting wrongful conviction lawsuit against the prosecutors and police involved, which led to a landmark compensation award. Greg has written reports on alternative automobile insurance compensation systems presented to government and trial lawyer associations across Western Canada and Ontario, and has lectured for the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association on personal injury litigation. He earned his BA in 1975 and his LLB in 1978, both from the University of Manitoba, was called to the Manitoba bar in 1979 and the Alberta bar in 1995, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2009. Greg has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Personal Injury Litigation every year from 2019 to 2025 and was named 2021 Lawyer of the Year for Personal Injury Litigation in Calgary.
