About Joty
Joty Sandhu studied criminology before completing her law degree at the University of British Columbia in 2015. She now handles a wide array of family disputes at MacLean Law, from cohabitation and separation agreements to asset division, parenting time and spousal support, alongside estate litigation files involving wills variation, undue influence and resulting trust claims. Before becoming a lawyer, she advocated for marginalized individuals through the First United Church Community Ministry Society. She sits on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Section and belongs to the South Asian Bar Association and Vancouver Bar Association. She speaks Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
