About Jesse

Jesse Emmond joined MacLean Law as an associate in 2021, handling property division, child access and custody disputes, marriage and separation agreements, and mediation. Before that he articled at a large Kelowna firm and then worked at a boutique litigation practice, where he helped a former BC Supreme Court judge and the Attorney General's office develop the Kelowna Integrated Court, which opened in 2021. He has appeared as counsel at every level of court in British Columbia and before various tribunals. Jesse earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts from UBC in 2013, and belongs to the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
