About Dirk
Dirk Laudan is counsel at Eyford Partners LLP in Vancouver, focusing on business disputes, construction law, surety claims, insurance coverage, and arbitration and mediation. He earned his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 1995 and a B.A. from the University of Toronto's Trinity College in 1991, and he was called to the British Columbia bar in 1997 and the Saskatchewan bar in 2021. He is the author of the Guide to Builders Liens in British Columbia and sits on the editorial board of the British Columbia Builders Liens Practice Manual, and he has written and spoken extensively on construction law and builders liens. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch Construction Law Section. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for construction law since 2016 and in Lexpert Special Edition: Infrastructure since 2022.
