About Josh
Josh is a partner at Myers LLP practising almost exclusively in criminal defence. He represents clients on matters ranging from summary conviction offences to murder, and has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba and at the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as in professional discipline proceedings. Josh joined the firm as a summer student in 1995, became an associate in 1997, made partner in 2009, and served as managing partner from 2015 to 2018. He has been named to Best Lawyers Canada for Criminal Law every year since 2021, including Winnipeg's Criminal Defence Lawyer of the Year for 2026, and is a past president of the Manitoba Bar Association.
