About Josh

Josh is an associate in the St. John's office whose practice focuses on labour, employment, and human rights law, with additional experience in litigation and municipal law. He works with clients in the natural resources sector, healthcare, educational institutions, municipalities, and federally regulated businesses, tailoring his advice to complex workplace and regulatory issues. He has represented clients before all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Federal Court of Canada, and regularly appears before tribunals including the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission, and WorkplaceNL. His experience includes acting as counsel for employers in Occupational Health and Safety Act prosecutions and advising on compliance with labour standards and human rights obligations. Josh earned his JD with distinction from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2021 and a BComm (Hons.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2017, and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2022.
