About Joseph

Joe is a co-founder of Poulus Ensom Smith LLP whose practice covers contract disputes, shareholder and corporate governance disputes, Indigenous governance disputes, professional negligence, real estate litigation, injunctions, securities litigation, and defamation, and he has appeared before every level of court in British Columbia, the Federal Court, and the Alberta Court of King's Bench. He regularly represents Indigenous governments and individuals, including successful defences for the Blueberry River First Nations and the Lhoosk'uz Dene Nation. He has been recognized as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation Canada and as an 'Up and Coming' lawyer by Chambers & Partners.
