About John

John Rice is a partner at Rice Parsons Leoni & Elliott LLP, where he practises plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle claims, medical and dental malpractice, and wrongful death matters. Since 2016 his practice has grown to include denied insurance coverage claims, product liability, and class actions. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2021 and was the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia's 2020 president. John was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2004 and in Saskatchewan in 2022. He holds a law degree from the University of British Columbia (2003) and a B.A. in history from McGill University (1999).
