About Marissa

Marissa Atwal joined Ben Ingram & Associates in 2020 and has worked her way from legal assistant to associate. She helps clients navigate divorce, parenting time, child and spousal support, and property division matters. Atwal earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminology with a focus on legal studies from Simon Fraser University, then obtained her law degree from the University of Leicester in England, where she volunteered with the Pro Bono Society and served as Academic Officer of the Canadian Law Society. She is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC and the South Asian Bar Association of BC, and sits on the organizing committee for the Emerging Family Lawyers Forum.
