About John

John began his legal career as a paralegal at Barry & O'Neil before being admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1992. He joined Gorman Nason in 2019 after a general law practice in the greater Saint John area, appearing before all levels of court in New Brunswick and various administrative tribunals. His practice covers real estate, wills and estates, civil litigation, and corporate and commercial matters. Before his legal career, John served thirty years in the Canadian Naval Reserve, retiring with the rank of Commander and holding the Canadian Forces Decoration and Bar, and later served as Aide de Camp to two of New Brunswick's Lieutenant Governors. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the New Brunswick Law Society and the Saint John Law Society.
