About John
John Loukidelis serves as Counsel at SimpsonWigle LAW, where his practice centers on income tax law. He advises owner-managed businesses on tax planning, guides clients through tax-driven corporate reorganizations, and represents them in tax objections and appeals before the Tax Court of Canada. His three decades in tax law were built at some of Canada's top firms and a national chartered accounting firm, giving him practical, business-minded judgment rather than purely theoretical counsel. He has written articles and spoken frequently to groups such as the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Hamilton Law Association, and he keeps a blog covering tax issues relevant to owner-managers. John earned his LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Toronto in 1993 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995.
