About John
John Goudy's litigation practice focuses on property disputes, including real estate and environmental litigation, condominium law, expropriation law, energy regulation and regulatory offences. Since being called to the bar in July 2005, John Goudy has appeared before all levels of the Ontario courts, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Energy Board, the National Energy Board (now the Canadian Energy Regulator Commission), and the Ontario Environmental Review Tribunal, among other tribunals. John Goudy has a particular interest in agricultural land matters and lives and works on a family cash crop farm north of London. John Goudy serves as a Policy Advisor with the Canadian Association of Energy and Pipeline Landowner Associations, assisting landowners across Canada with energy projects on their land. John Goudy also writes Agrilaw, a monthly publication in The Rural Voice, and authors the Law of the Lands blog on farm, energy and environmental law.
