About John

John Carlo Mastrangelo maintains a broad litigation practice centred on corporate commercial litigation and public law, with subject-matter experience in telecommunications, energy, and real estate. He has played key roles in significant matters including a precedent-setting CRTC appeal, a historic First Nations treaty claim, and the largest contested merger in Canadian history, appearing at all levels of court in Ontario as well as before the Competition Tribunal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He graduated as gold medallist from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017, winning several subject-matter prizes, and clerked for Justice Suzanne Côté at the Supreme Court of Canada before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. He completed his undergraduate studies at Glendon College, York University.
