Joel maintains a general civil litigation practice, with a focus on employment law, land disputes, and foreclosures and realizations. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, the Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan, and the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan. He belongs to the Saskatchewan Bar Association and the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, and serves on the executive of a local provincial constituency association.
