About Joan

Joan Dreyer completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan in 1986 and an Advanced Certificate in History in 1989, then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan's Faculty of Law in 1992. She articled with the Attorney General's Legal Services Branch in Victoria, then joined a Surrey law firm where she established a family law practice before starting her own practice in Langley. She has practised extensively in family law and in residential and commercial conveyancing and lending transactions, has overseen articles for three students, and has appeared before the BC Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
