About Jill

Jill Giesbrecht was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2019 after completing her law degree at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law and an undergraduate degree at Brandon University's Faculty of Arts. She articled with Meighen Haddad LLP and joined the partnership in 2026. Her practice centres on family law, helping clients resolve separations and divorces, including parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, and division of family property, often through negotiated agreements. She also handles real estate transactions, corporate matters, estate planning and administration, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and uncontested adoptions. Born and raised in Brandon, she represents the Western/Dauphin region on the Manitoba Bar Association Council, is a past president of the Western Manitoba Bar Association, sits on the YMCA of Brandon's Board of Directors, and volunteers with the Western Manitoba Women's Centre.
