About Matthew

Matthew Haydey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology from the University of Winnipeg in 2012 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law in 2018, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2021. During law school he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and co-chaired the Outlaws, Robson Hall's LGBTQ+ student group, and received the D.A. Thompson Course Award for an essay on Aboriginal People and the Law. He currently serves on the Manitoba Bar Association's Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Committee as section executive.
