About Derek

Derek Cullen joined Meighen Haddad LLP as an articling student, became an associate in 1999, and was made a partner in 2003. He focuses his practice on farming, corporate, and commercial transactions, and has significant experience in arbitration and court matters, including shareholder disputes, estate litigation, and construction litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Carleton University and the University of Manitoba in 1993 and completed his law degree at the University of Victoria in 1997. He has written articles for the firm on topics including business partnerships, corporate minute books, contracts formed by email, and family property disputes.
