About Jennifer

Jennifer Taylor Chan is the owner of JTC Litigation PC, a Toronto firm founded in 2020 that handles workplace litigation for both employees and employers, including wrongful dismissal, human rights, and workplace harassment matters. Chan also has a concentration in WSIB and WSIAT appeals, representing injured workers, first responders, and unions in claims involving survivor benefits, mental health injuries, and occupational diseases. Chan has appeared before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, and various civil courts across Ontario. Chan is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law and was called to the bar in 2016. Chan served as Chair of the Ontario Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Executive in 2023-2024 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
