About JTC Litigation PC

JTC Litigation PC is the law office of Jennifer Taylor Chan, an employment and workers' compensation lawyer serving clients across Ontario from offices in Toronto and Oakville. Chan founded the practice in 2020 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016, entering an eleventh year of practice by June 2026 with more than 450 cases handled. The firm represents employees, managers, regulated professionals, trade associations, small and mid-sized businesses, and non-profit organizations in wrongful dismissal actions, human rights complaints, workplace harassment and violence allegations, restrictive covenant disputes, and unpaid wages claims, along with compliance advice for employers on policies, accommodations, and terminations.

A second focus is workers' compensation. The firm represents injured and ill workers in WSIB and WSIAT appeals, including claims involving survivor benefits, mental health injuries, and occupational diseases, and Chan has appeared before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Canadian Industrial Relations Board. Chan chaired the Ontario Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Executive in 2023 and 2024 and belongs to the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. Post City Magazine named Chan a Top Toronto Labour and Employment Lawyer in both 2024 and 2025. JTC Litigation operates as a virtual-first practice, with in-person meetings by appointment at either office.
