About Jennifer

Jennifer is a co-founder of Merida Law. After graduating from Dalhousie Law School in 2011, she completed her articles in Northern Manitoba with Legal Aid, serving remote Indigenous communities, before returning to Nova Scotia in 2012 to build her family law practice. She co-founded Merida Law with Katie Brady and Hillary Brannen in 2022. Jennifer has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia and has trained in Collaborative Family Law and Mediation, offering clients an interest-based alternative to litigation. She serves as a Director on the Nova Scotia Legal Aid Commission and is a member of the Supreme Court Family Division Liaison Committee.
