About Jennifer

Jennifer Horton practises in all areas of corporate income tax planning, including advisory and transactional work. Horton advises on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, including for emerging and high-growth companies, as well as corporate reorganizations, restructuring transactions and private equity investments, and assists with resolving related tax disputes. Jennifer has presented on international tax issues at the Canadian Tax Foundation's Young Practitioner Focus program and completed the Canadian Bar Association's Tax Law for Lawyers program and CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course. Horton holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia with a Business Law Concentration and a B.A. from the University of Ottawa.
